CINNABAR HgS (trigonal). 湖南，中國 . Found in a rhombohedral or prismatic form , most specimens are massive or granular aggregates.The scarlet red to brownish red color is its most distinctive feature. 辰砂為國寶級雞血石中紅色部份的主要來源，也是產生汞的來源礦．硬度 2∼2.5，金屬至金剛光澤，曝露空氣中漸轉為晦暗色彩．本礦作為水晶的內含物更為難得． |
